Ingredients
1 pkg. German's sweet chocolate2 cups flour, divided (240 g.)
3/4 cup butter1 tsp. baking soda
1-1/2 cups sugar1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla1 recipe coconut-pecan frosting
Directions

Microwave chocolate and butter in large bowl on high 1-2 minutes until melted. Stir until completely melted; add sugar; beat with mixer until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Combine 1/2 cup flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to chocolate mixture, mix well. Add remaining flour alternately with buttermilk, mixing well after each addition. Note: in Julie's oven 40 minutes bake time... Pour into greased 9 x 13" pan; bake 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Frost with coconut-pecan frosting.
