Ingredients
1 cup butter (2 sticks)1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup sugar1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg2 tbsp. instant coffee
1 tsp. vanilla1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2-1/4 cups flour (270 g.)1 cup finely chopped walnuts
Directions

Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; gradually blend into the creamed mixture. Using cookie press, form cookies in strips on ungreased cookie sheet (or on parchment paper on a cookie sheet, to make sure they don’t stick). Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned. Cut into cookie lengths with a knife. Cool. Meanwhile, melt chips (half a package to start with). Dip top of cookie in chocolate, then into the chopped nuts. Melt more chocolate if needed.
