Ingredients
2-1/4 cups flour (270 g.)1/2 cup sugar (100 g.)
1 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt2 large eggs
1 stick butter, softened12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup brown sugar (200 g.)1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
This recipe is for Winnie’s Chocolate Chip Cookies and includes her alterations. Cream butter, add sugar, salt and baking soda and mix until combined. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Add flour; use a spoon if batter gets too thick for mixer. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto baking sheet; bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool.
