Soy Sauce Brownies

Ingredients
1 stick unsalted butter (115 g.)3 eggs
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips1 cup brown sugar (200 g.)
1 cup almond meal2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 Tbsp. cocoa powder4 tsp. soy sauce (recipe says 3-4)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

Preheat oven. Grease 9” square baking pan. Melt butter and chocolate chips in glass bowl in microwave. In another bowl, whisk almond meal, cocoa powder and baking powder. In third bowl whisk eggs, brown sugar, vanilla and soy sauce. Slowly whisk egg mixture into cooled chocolate mixture until combined. Fold in dry ingredients. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes. Removed and cool completely. Easier to handle once refrigerated. Note: add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts if desired. Could try cutting sugar to 3/4 cup.
