Fancy Garlic Bread

Ingredients
2 loaves soft deli-style italian bread2 tsp oregano
1/4 cup olive oil1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 stick unsalted butter1 tbsp parsley
1/4 cup minced garlic
Directions

Adjust oven racks to upper middle and lower middle positions and preheat oven to 500. Split each loaf lengthwise and then crosswise into 8 pieces. Combine olive oil and butter in a 12in skillet and heat over medium-high heat until butter melts. Add garlic, oregano and red pepper flakes and stir until fragrant (~1min). Remove from heat! Dip cut side of each piece of bread in garlic butter mixture and arrange on two foil-lined rimmed baking sheets. Spoon any extra garlic butter evenly over the bread. Season with salt. Bake in oven ~10mins until toasted and bubbly. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.
