Ingredients
2 oz. Baker’s semi-sweet baking chocolate, chopped into pieces3/4 tsp. salt
1 cup hot coffee1/2 tsp. baking powder
1-1/2 cups flour (215 grams)1/2 cup vegetable or coconut oil
1 cup cocoa powder (85 grams)1 cup buttermilk
1 cup packed light brown sugar (200 grams)2 large eggs
1 cup sugar (200 grams)1 tsp. vanilla extract
1-1/4 tsp. baking soda
Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Butter a 9 x 13 baking pan. In a small bowl, stir the chocolate into the hot coffee until melted; set aside. In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, sugar, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Whisk in the oil, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, and chocolate mixture until smooth. Pour batter into pan and bake for 40 minutes. Frost with Chocolate Glaze.
