Directions
Beat softened butter with electric mixer until creamy. Add 1 cup of the flour (120 g.), the sugar, egg, baking powder, vanilla and almond extract. Beat until thoroughly combined. Beat in remaining flour (300 g.). Force unchilled dough through a cookie press (using Christmas tree insert or whatever shape you like) onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with green or red decorating sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or till edges are firm but not brown. Cook cookies on a wire rack. Makes about 84. |
